The BB Energy Saver 1000

The BB Energy Saver 1000, consists of at least 1000W of photovoltaic panels, e.g. five 200W, or six 170W, mounted in a frame. During the day, power is safely supplied through a grid-tie inverter to the house, with any excess fed back to the electricity grid. You become a mini-power station. At night your home's needs are supplied from the electricity grid. The RRP of the system is $14,000.   Because we deal directly with manufacturers, buy, ship and install in bulk, and pass on savings to you the homeowner, we have been able to reduce the cost to you significantly.  The rebate is means tested, and only available to those with a combined household taxable income of under $100,000 per annum.

 
 
Installation

Installation of the BBEnergy Saver 1000 to your home will be undertaken by an accredited installer.  All our installers are registered with the Business Council for Sustainable Energy (BCSE).

 
 
Photovoltaic Panels

1000 watts of solar panels, eg, 5 x 200 watts or 6 x 170 watts, will be fixed to your roof and a suitable inverter installed by our BCSE accredited installers. We will also arrange for your energy supplier to connect your system to the electricity grid. The panels come with a 25 year performance warranty.

 
 
 
Grid Tie Solar Inverter

A grid tie inverter matched to the panels will be supplied and complies with all relevant standards (AS4777 and AS3100). The inverter comes with a standard 5 year warranty.

 
 
 
Upgrades

Upgrades are available, and priced at $8,000 per extra 1kW. (This is because the government rebate only applies to the first 1kW.) This price includes the cost of the installation and matching inverter.
