The Boundaries of the Byron Solar Shire are pretty wide! We can install from Ballina to Tweed, throughout Byron Shire, and in nearby areas of Lismore Shire, such as Rosebank, Federal and Lismore itself.

If you're nearby to these areas, email us to tell us of your situation and location. If you can gather a group of 5 or more together, within a 5km radius, then it's likely that we can come and install.

Prices

$1695 for a 1kW standard installation.

Plus $8000 payable after we inspect your house: rebated back by the government after installation.

Plus the Renewable Energy Certificates.

Exceptions and extra charges

A standard installation is based on a metal roof and a one storey dwelling

There are additional charges for non standard installations such as tile roofs and double storey houses, or where extra work is required on your electrics prior to installation. Country Energy will probably charge you a couple of hundred for connection to the grid. More

Apply in Two Easy Steps

Step 1

Visit our apply page and complete the simple application. You will be given a reference number to write down. You have to pay by cheque. Make sure you write your reference number on the cheque.

Step 2

1. Print out the application form and complete it and sign it.
2. Make photocopies of the following documents:

Your current drivers license (FRONT and BACK) MUST SHOW THE SAME ADDRESS AS YOUR INSTALLATION ADDRESS
A council rates notice MUST SHOW THE SAME ADDRESS AS YOUR INSTALLATION ADDRESS

3. Post all of the above with the cheque (unless you are paying online) to Beyond Building Energy, Reply Paid 288, Byron Bay, NSW, 2481.

If you live on a multiple occupancy, all of the above documents must show proof of your lot number.

NO APPLICATIONS CAN BE SUBMITTED WITHOUT THE CORRECT IDENTIFICATION ATTACHED - If you have any queries please email or call us before sending in your application.

* 1 storey dwelling
* up to code wiring
* standard length of cabling required

a non standard installation will incur extra costs. Extra costs will be assessed at pre-installation inspection and the customer reserves the right to a refund if these extra costs are unfavourable.

There are a number of credit cards available. The Basic Black currently has the lowest interest rate. Fees and charges may apply. All loans are subject to the bank’s normal lending criteria.

You must pay by cheque to take advantage of this offer. At the payment page, click on the deposit price of $1695, and then click on ‘I’ll send a cheque’.

If you are referring a friend, we’ll send you a referral bonus cheque of $100 for everyone who writes down your name on their application page, after they have paid in full. There is no limit on how many people you can refer. Yes, that means if there are 17 or more people who write down your name when applying, you’ll make more money back than the system cost you in the first place.

If you are being referred by a friend, when you send the cheque in, write it for the amount you owe us. On the printed application form write who referred you. You must include the name, and the address of the person who referred you in order to get the discount. You can only claim one $50 discount. Then start telling your friends to claim your own referral bonuses!
