Community Lighting

Solar Electric Fences

Solar powered electric fences can be a very practical alternative to electric when containing animals and livestock in remote areas. Solar electric fencing is especially suitable when containing or moving livestock through areas where grid  power is not accessable. Solar for Schools

Launched in 2009 by the Australian Government, The National Solar Schools Programme, provided grants of up to $50,000 for participating schools to install solar and other renewable power systems. The NSS Programme proved so popular that the Government were forced to suspend funding in October 2009 due to the Government's maximum spend having been reached.

The Programme is scheduled to re-open to new claims early in the 2010-11 financial year.
