Beyond Building Energy and SunnyRoo are proud to be supporting the African Equity community in Kenya. Founded by Chris and Virginia Anderson, African Equity is an Australian based Non-Government Organisation (NGO) which supports children in need in East Africa. African Equity and was formed as a way to directly link and facilitate help from the Australian community for children at risk in East Africa.

African Equity's primary focus is to support the construction and development of the 'Heroes of the Nation' orphanage and school project in Nyahururu, Kenya.

Beyond Building Energy is supporting the orphanage by providing them with renewable energy, wind turbines and solar panels, as well as donating a solar powered hydroponic greenhouse. The greenhouse will grow crops in a third of the normal time and use only 5% of the water usually needed to grow the crops.
